Introducing Sounds Like This new Primary Kids Choir and Big Kids Classes, dynamic and engaging experiences, packed with singing, joy and excitement!
Big Kids
Music Classes
Our Big Kids music classes welcome children aged 5-12 years old (parent-free zone - go grab a cuppa and chill!).
At Sounds Like This, we make music fun in a welcoming environment where your big kids can be kids.
It’s about allowing a love of music to develop through child-led exploration and play. Behind the scenes, they’re learning about rhythm, pitch, tempo and melody without even knowing it.
Great for the brain and imagination. Even better for the soul.

Kids music making sessions to help your children become confident, joyful music lovers
Our older children’s music classes are a natural extension of our kinder kids sessions, scaffolding their learning to build musicianship and nurture creativity.
Expect lots of confidence building, games that promote teamwork, and echo, call and response songs in a full-bodied learning environment.

How long? Classes last 35 minutes
How much?
Membership booking: $25 per class per child + $17 for siblings attending in the same class
Casual class: $29 per sesson
How often? Classes run weekly during the school term.
When and where? Our in-person Big Kids music classes are based in southeast Melbourne — at Making Waves, 4/4 Torca Terrace, Mornington — and run in alignment with the school terms (and some school holidays - see our bookings page for the current timetables)
