Primary Kids Choir
Sounds Like This’ new kids choir for young primary aged children is a dynamic and engaging experience, packed with joy and excitement!
The session kicks off with a warm welcome and energetic vocal warm-up to get those voices ready to soar. We'll sprinkle in fun singing techniques so we’ll sound OH SO FABULOSO!
We’ll dive into learning new songs, breaking them down into catchy and easy-to-sing sections, then adding all the wonderful music elements (phrasing, rad beats, soul, and more) that are sure to get everyone smiling and feeling on top of the world!
Group singing is a blast as we harmonise and create beautiful music together, with kids singing in unison and parts like a true choir. Sounds Like This Primary Kids Choir is all about having fun, boosting confidence, and shining like stars.

Here are a few:
Working together develops collaboration and cooperation and mastering a challenging song or hitting a high note gives children a real sense of accomplishment, building courage and self-esteem.
Learning and memorising songs enhances memory, concentration and impulsivity. Learning lyrics and music helps children develop their cognitive abilities and increases language and communication skills.
Children will learn to listen to each other, blend their voices, and support their fellow singers, respectfully blending their different voices and perspectives. They'll build friendships and develop a strong sense of belonging.
Plus, singing provides kids with a healthy outlet to express their emotions and connect with the music and themselves on a deeper level.

4:50pm Singing breath-work so we look after those young voices and sing tunefully
Songs!
4:55pm The kids will help choose their favourites to create breathtaking and joy-filled music together. We'll definitely be singing songs that empower us, build our growth mindset and leave us feeling incredible!
There’ll be singing in unison and in-parts so it’s certain to sound flippin’ amazing!
We’ll be sure to arrange all songs so the kid’s growing vocal chords are nice and safe.5:15pm Immersive musical games with the Big Kids music group - A great way to wind down and SO MUCH FUN!
5:30pm Class dismissed! Expect big smiles and happy hearts !
